H: Isn't this exciting? There's been quite the fearsome foes, but with our party, there's nothing to fear! [PARTY LIST: Lucus (All Rounded Bard), Tokimori (White Mage), Tsubaki (Geomancer), and ME!!!!! (Freeloader)]
L: Are you sure? You were so alarmed when that tengu was wringing you like a mouse.
[Hancock screaming for help in the background.]
H, panicking: Could you blame me? Being hoisted like that would make any person scramble!
L: You were fine. Though in retrospect, throwing off an aerial enemy's sense of direction IS a good strat.
[Tengu being thwarted off-course in the background due to an opposing pull technique.]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:4c6t4ad4eg5nzh73zwmnj3sn/bafkreicx4wqfoghcs7bso7mmonfkmf27vvsydwjivti6tetpq5r7f447pm)

H: It would've been nicer to get the memo perhaps moments sooner? That fall hurt so badly, I must've broken a rib!
L, annoyed: You literally did not break anything...
L: Maybe if you weren't trying to cause a distraction, you wouldn't have gotten snagged.
[Hancock cheerfully holding a dogu found on the trip, instantly aggroing the nearby yokai.]
H: That's where you come in, oh might bodyguard~!
L: I'll just let them carry you off next time.
H: NO PLEASE, NOT AGAIN!!!!](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:4c6t4ad4eg5nzh73zwmnj3sn/bafkreido74747dqvgfpfg3sqbm4mwdruicvxy4r7iilj3t65ws7ot44knu)

Text reads:
H: Still, I've never seen you so panicked. Surely the yokai were just no match for you in the end.
L: What are you saying? Anyone would be in disarray at a territorial disadvantage. (And his lordship would consider it a testament of my strength if I somehow left one measly guide to die...)
H: It's just... you're usually so level-headed. It didn't occur to me that a hero of your caliber could look so scared!
L, confused: Why does that even matter?
H: A merchant must always have an eye to study people's expressions! And I'd say, you've been quite good at playing up the humility!
L: Uh-huh....](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:4c6t4ad4eg5nzh73zwmnj3sn/bafkreibjsxrqtnoelgyeaajwpbdxjptootj46kdub3df6gh375aji2fdvm)

Text reads:
H: Or maybe it's a good cover to hide that underside of yours.
L: Whatever do you mean?
H: Oh nothing. I just thought we were a lot more similar than anticipated.
L, half offended: And by similar you mean overbearing.
H: Not quite.
H, smiling gleefully: You find comfort in a facade, just like me.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:4c6t4ad4eg5nzh73zwmnj3sn/bafkreigw4ld2fqpgiy54i542ddn55dkqarjmfffdvkxou6oak2txr5emvm)
