it's okay ,, /sigh. i've been hoping it was nothing as well. but if that visage you saw could be real , then we have to be open to any possibility ,, i just. hope that possibility won't be a bad one ,,

yeah 💧 which , i honestly don't blame you for—but you were really out of it. worried me a lot ,,

/and there he goes , snuggling up with them. arms latched around them. his temperature rising . . /nice and comfortable . . of course. thought you could use a little comfort. you looked like you've been lost in thought since the fest , so—

as if i care. i want my sharkbite with me , don't care what happens to me . . /and nodding. he's already ate enough , plus he wants to make sure they eat. go ahead. all yours , my love ~

/snrk. just cmere. i'll dry you off. /patting his lap , while offering his sandwich to them. and you can eat this—.

! /swallowing the last bit and staring at the pool. then back to his sandwich. then back to them—. . . salami sub. went to the store and got more. do you want a bite ?

/just keeping an eye on them. munching on a sandwich.

<— /has been worried about his partner for three days.

yeah . . 💧 as much as i'd like it , you have a duty as an idol to the city. so you gotta perform. but at least you come home to a great dinner afterwards . .

000

! oooh , yes ! perfect idea ! i should go shopping—i'll bring the boys too .

oh ? can do. i'll make sure to get it all together by the time you come home ~ ah but what kind of dumplings . . /thinking , thinking . .

mhm ~ speaking of you being back tonight , anything you want for dinner ? i'm a bit stumped on plans 💧

I'm the greatest ever , yes I know ~ /snrk. a little bragging. but yeah , they're okay. currently just watching cartoons in their little play area . . Kashi gets a little whiny when he can't have you at home during fests , Nelly too. Even though you're not gone forever— /snrk.

just some sandwiches. had some salami in the fridge so i thought i'd use it— /cheek kiss. mwah. of course ♡

/snrk. hey , sharkie. /holding up a bag. luuuuunch. brought some food ~

. . yeah. /he's a bit worried but he doesn't want to keep them out for too long. so he blows them one last kiss. i'll be at the house. i love you—.

they're okay. but they are getting a little tired . . /glancing down at Kashi and Nelly , who are knocked out in his arms. or they're sleep now—.

/nod. yeah. i'll keep an eye out—. /leaving them with one last kiss to their cheek , then dropping down to the side of the float. just focus on the fest ! keep your spirits high !

! . . wait , seriously—?! /oop. too loud. well , not loud enough to drown the crowd but still. why would . . what ?? /left in confusion , now. their mother ? last he heard anything about her , it wasn't good. but why was she here. okay. yeah. okay—definitely later.

? /someone ? who ? a friend , maybe ? no , it might not be friendly . . /but he reaches out to grab their hand. squeezing it. well whoever it is ? we can handle it later. i'll be right here with you all the way.

you okay ? you seem a bit distracted . /hopping up , sitting on the edge.

? /just been hanging off the float with the boys in tow. looking up at them. /peeking ,, nnaari ??

with one. thought you could whip somethin' up . .

/////// i'll keep spoiling you til the end of time . . /following them , watching the way they move. taking note of anything wrong. seems it's all fine . . okay , good . . seems using an aluminum alloy was the right call. whew—. oh ! are you gonna name it ? i didn't think of coming up +

light , durable , and heat resistant—! just so you can wield it properly !!

/ough. melting right into their touch. smiling ,, only the best for my sharkie . . ~ /returning a kiss of his own to their knuckles , and to the back of their hand. purring. oh ? of course you can hold it. get a feel for your new weapon . . i made sure to find a suitable metal that's +

finite compared to ink . . and then you have the ' splatling ' position. you take the handle , cock it back , lift it up—and you wield it like a splatling. can't show it now , but we can run tests tomorrow . .

so !! /pointing to the barrel. little sharp teeth ~. the weapon can convert into one of two positions. we have the main one , which takes the standard inkzooka form—and you can fire up to two types of ammo. y'got your standard ink , or some smoke grenades. however the grenades are +

well i wouldn't call it ' art ' but y'knowww . . uvu /of course they'd be excited. he's not one to toot his own horn , but he knew it'd be perfect for them. /he's so fucking giddy right now—. i'm glad you love it , dear. but i haven't told you the features ~

due to all the metal plating . . TA - DA !!

/aaaaaaand . . FWOOSH ! pulling off the cloth ! /underneath is a modified inkzooka—HEAVILY modified. the vibrant colors replaced with darker blues and grey. sharp fins protuding from the sides with a custom shark head surrounding the barrel. /the build is a bit wider and bulkier. probably +

oh definitely . /putting it down in the couch , a big dumbass grin on his face. ready ? excited ~ ?

/holding up . . something. covered in cloth. it looks like a weapon (?) :3 yuuup ! the one i've been working on !! finally finished it . .

Where my wife at where my sharkbite at I have a surprise for them
