For transparency, I was discouraged when both my sons opted out of sports and boys clubs when they were younger. It's complicated. I'd say they turned out okay, but they call the boys at school who cat call the girls "YNs." One has a gf *because* she identified him as NOT a "YN."

Good Morning Aces and WNBA fans, or enemies of That Girl from Iowa. I ventured onto FB for the schadenfreude. Sifting though the bot responses looking for human comments, I bring to you this gem. The logic of math prevails! Aces shot 84 times. Fever shot 110 times. Gotta make your shots!

Before the Fever fans start whining about the refs :
The Fever stats this game:
38% from the field (Aces 46%
28% from the 3 (Aces 40%)
The last 5 fouls by the Fever were to stop the clock - had those not happened the calls would have been 22 fouls on the Fever to 19 on the Aces (a pretty evenly called game). If we remove the last 10 FTs shot/made (because those were intentional fouls), the Fever 14/20 and the Aces 18/25. That's not an unequally called game.
Missing 48 FGs and 23 3pters probably had the MOST to do with the loss. Kind of have to make more shots than the other team. The Fever shot 110 shots. The Aces shot 84. That's the problem.

It's not all fun and games for homeowners, either. We buy our houses expecting to pay less monthly over time as we pay down the interest/more on principal. But when property values go up, so do taxes. So ppl are paying MORE than what they expected their mortgage to be, so they STILL LOSE.

We also refi during COVID to a like a 3.7% or something, 15-year mortgage. But property values rising = property taxes rising. I was paying $1500/mo in 2020. Now I'm paying $1900/mo. My mortgage is supposed to be going DOWN as I pay off the principle, but it's going up? Sucks for everyone.
