I feel that through this, I have failed my friends, my family, and myself. The fact I don't even think that if I took a second pass I'd be dead, and my parents would have woken up to my corpse at my desk, is worrying - I don't even feel the urge to preserve my life.

I can't guarantee this won't happen again, sadly. The manic swings of my mood are progressing worse. Despite some fortunate developments (namely securing a job that I could pay off debts to) I still feel as if my life is forfeit. I feel like I'm not sentient anymore, an automaton.

I don't know what I was doing, or what I was thinking - if at all. I haven't been mentally all here for a long time since 2024, and as time progresses, I only project that my mental deterioration may accelerate. It's just, scary knowing that my mind is kinda going, the thoughts that come with are.

After the shock wore off I realized what I was doing and immediately put down the blade and turned to save myself, for which I'm doing fine - but strenuous exercise is not advised whilst it heals - if I exercise that area the risk for re-opening will rise.

Due to all of this, and the drop of my therapist due to costs, I saw the Final Solution was necessary. After nearly a year of abstinence from self harm, I took a razor to my thigh and cut again. I did not cut deep enough on the first pass to be fatal and struck a nerve.

It left me with an urge to die. Normally I have always been able to snap back like a rubber band from the things going on in my life and my mental struggles, and cognitive issues, but I felt, and still do, that the problems with me are unsolvable and I'm too scarred to recover and live normally.

In early August I had a serious relapse of what I believe is PTSD from my assault in 2024 that caused many issues. Due to the fact this relapse lasted nearly the whole month, only being able to function mildly at the end of August, I came out into September deeply scarred and on edge.

To give a bit of overhead, it's probably been noticed - my grammar's odd, my mood shifts a lot, and I don't really "say" much when I DO speak (like, saying words but the overall meaning of what I'm conveying is minimal or nonexistent).
