I know I'm not exactly pushing the envelope with this by now, but one of my favourite modern text genres remains when some unwanted chatbot without having been asked makes up something for some reason that is so obviously bullshit that it boggles the mind

This is slowly becoming my favourite object in the city. It has been there for weeks, sometimes it gets put a few meters there or around the corner. It's the remnant of a small construction area from the summer. Its long life in the street is somewhat spectacular (context for people who don't know Bern: This is a frustratingly clean city, to the point that it becomes difficult for me to find objects or even lost paper notes in the streets. The fact that this plank survived for weeks because no one is really sure whether it still belongs to someone or not is both the most and least Bernese thing).

Just learned that the Dead Brothers' (who were the best Swiss band) song "I Am All I Got" was used for the season finale of James Gunn's Creature Commandos, and I hope everybody involved in the song got paid handsomely. der film "Stalker" und die buchvorlage "Picknick am Wegesrand" ist eines der seltenen beispiele dafür wenn beide versionen einer sehr guten geschichte einen sehr schlechten titel haben

Beginnt als eine Art Prepperkrimi, bietet im Mittelteil eine endlich mal total schlaue Einarbeitung von Kafkas Process (weil es den Text als von der Figur selbstgewähltes, vorgeprägtes Paranoia-Script einsetzt), und endet dann etwas vorhersehbar in einer Trauma-Erzählung – hat mir sehr gefallen
