Ok #battletech #minipainting sphere. Whats the difference between a "highlight" and an "accent"? Looking at examples of minis on camospecs or unit color compendium seem to just leave it up to artist caveat. If there an official ruling on the difference somewhere? Or whats your general rule of thumb?

A few shots today of the great cheese grater battle of '26: RACs vs HAGs Edition* #battletech (*cluster weapon spam in general). I was able to pull a victory out 11 to 6 against my opponent. Its like his 3rd game of battletech but he is catching on fast so it was a real slugfest of a battle.

My IlClan Fed Suns faced off against an opponent's also IlClan Fed Suns list. I put the absolute pain on him. I'd call it a drum list but I've never seen anything get beat on quite as hard as his forces did. #battletech

I want to say it was a riveting game and everyone was on the edge of their seats but what actually happened was me being a casual bystander while my opponent's dice gutted her turn after terrible turn. It was like watching someone club a baby seal to death. Totally brutal. #battletech

Small local con. Started off with a solid attendance for the Alpha Strike Academy and a thematic reskinning of Leviathans. We're trying something different this year in that all of our scenarios are loosely connected narrative of the 2nd Star League invasion of Huntress. #battletech ##wargaming

Some shots from a different game. Im narrowing down my Southern Assault alpha strike list. Unless, they make some real dynamic changes to their forces building guidelines I'm pretty sure im like 90% of the way there. #battletech

One of my locals & me faced off against Peri of the goonhammer/table top battles crew at Brawl in the Bluegrass a while back. A good write up of the event just went up. I had a very fun game against him and am glad to see my list made him sweat a bit. #battletech www.goonhammer.com/brawl-in-the...

Having a weird issue doing an oil wash. The gloss coat I laid down first is crackling but not really peeling. Ive never encountered this before & didnt change anything about my approach. Clear gloss coat had a day to cure. Anyone encountered this before? Or have an idea what might of caused it?
