This is like two forms of punctuation meeting outside the usual confines of a sentence.

All hail ‘King Mong’. Yeah. Probably wouldn’t do that nowadays.

"I can’t tell you how many times I popped in that VHS and let myself access Donnie’s world. Dozens upon hundreds. And much like my own submission to the uncanny, I never aimed to crack its code, but just let it wash over me. I crawled right up inside of it and wore it like a stupid man suit."

Stupid Man Suit | Donnie Darko (2001)
And isn’t that 'Donnie Darko', too? Removed from the impossible tangle of time travel, it's really just a mood.

I see Ann Widdecombe has died. When she was Home Secretary I showed her round Drake Hall womens’s prison. There was a pregnant woman on a bed in the early stages of Labour and she asked the prison officers why she wasn’t handcuffed to the bed. That’s the kind of woman she was.

These guys know their business, sure, but they've been tasked with the impossible. Paddington 2 scans as if Shakespeare and Moliere both rose from their graves and banged out one last triumph together. Fool's errand to go near a franchise after such work. And no, I'm not being hyperbolic.
