A meta-analysis of 31 studies (1390 teams) finds that teamwork is linked to superior performance (r = .28). Groups who engaged in teamwork were 2.8X more likely to achieve high performance than groups who didn't. Team familiarity/task didn't moderate effects. bmjopen.bmj.com/content/bmjo...
