Today, I had to remove Tapas from my links and images. Kakao Entertainment plans to SHUT DOWN Tapas. Consequently, I will no longer direct people there, and I need to figure out how to bring the few readers I had there over to other platforms to read my work.

practice makes the master! try some small hobby projects or just fun stuff with friends, even stuff like "lets all play some VN or adventure game and try to each one voice the characters" can be an small practice to build up both confidence and experience with working with your voice acting.

i think that syndrome is even going to hit waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder on current internet artist kids seing how they're completly conditioned, trained and pumped about "clout mentality" and some may suffer an identity crisis whne they have to draw something away from roblox/fornite fanart

webcomics started with small hobbist and quick blog like stuff, dont FEAR doing something "simple quick and cheap" is LITERALLY part of the webcomic culture and why these usually have daily, weekly or at least constantly post about it, so, please, take it easy, and draw that first page and post it.

Word of mouth is basically the only way small team projects can gain any traction. People hate ads with a passion, and ignore creators when they pitch their own work. But people will give something a chance when a person they know says they like something

is one of the frew places not run by an obvious company trying to monopolice in one single genre like webtons or tapas do, on top of that is EASIER to find any kind of level of webcomic there, is the best webcomic hosting site ever.

My redraw of artwork of Fox McCloud doing his Fire Fox up special in the original Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64. The redraw uses his design from Star Fox (2026).

it is really important to be loud about this stuff because it's typically kept very quiet to enable people to go "See? Nothing happened, it was just people being dramatic"

Andy Merrill (Brak) is an Amazon delivery driver. Carey Means (Frylock) got CHF from/exacerbated by COVID & was recently working as a restaurant dishwasher. C. Martin Croker (Zorak) died of sepsis from an infected tooth he couldn't afford to get treated. Capitalism destroys both art & artist.

is not much a weird road, after all comics have a nice advantage of being very adaptable and easier to make (that doesnt mean they're lesser to other art forms too!) which really open a lots of oportunities, but indeed is an interesting quirk for it to be a mute comic but nothing bad at all! nwn

Show off your oc's old design and current design. is nostalgic to see the old drawigs and remember the constant days of experimenting and learning playing around with their designs, then slowly as i learned more about comic making and actually doing it, made everything fell in place.
