It's cool to see so many people hopping onto Arcana Heart cause of the rollback patch. Fun fact that isnt mentioned much: If you heard Akane's Level 3 was one of the most difficult supers; they're referring to it in the PREVIOUS version. Six Stars made it significantly easier from it in Love Max

I have NEVER heard a good reason for why spoilers have an 'expiration date.' It's not hard to give a warning, or to say 'sorry' if you do spoil something accidentally. I feel like putting the fault on the person who got spoiled just means they have to consume every piece of media ever made asap

So playing Mina, I realized its kind of weird this doesnt mention the fast travel system at all. Which is interesting cause it ABSOLUTELY would've needed to be implemented already. The game is fun but this video did kind of read as a red flag. Like 'yeah, you dont NEED direction in this game!"

Okay seriously, this drives me up the wall. ArcSys will bend over backwards to remove character identities, mechanics, and rework their entire online ranked system in an attempt to get casual players to play online. But then never try a single-player mode that actually teaches the player anything.

"Coolness" is not all you need to make a fighting game appeal to everyone. I kind of hate that some hardcore FGC try to boil down absolutely every facet of the game to just that so they can argue that simplification doesnt work.

Got GBVSR. You can earn in-game currency to get characters but its probably a limited resource so Idk who to get Free version has all the characters ('cept 2B) but I can't use them on the paid version so I download it to try out a couple I CANNOT PLAY THE FREE VERSION CAUSE I HAVE THE FULL VERSION

An unexpected advantage to Rivals 2 adding all the characters for free is being able to try out a Character like La Reina without buying or renting her. She's not my usual type of character but she's actually super fun, and I don't think I would've even thought about trying her out otherwise.

With Hat kid released in Fraymakers (and me learning Rivals 2 lately) I decided to boot up Fray and give it a try and it's fun! Definitely still rough around the edges on some things though but its Early Access and half the price of RoA2 so I'd recommend it if this is your thing. Has mods too.

It's still funny to me that a thing around Sonic Crossworlds is people needing to argue it isn't 'just Mario Kart' because its functionally very similar to Mario Kart Then Kirby Air Riders does a presentation with a game that doesnt look like Mario Kart at all and Sakurai goes 'yeah its Mario Kart'

I gotta be honest, I REALLY don't want Darkstalkers to just be glued to the Street Fighter canon. For one, I dont want Capcom to just start connecting all their games to the same universe, much less as an excuse to add guests to Street Fighter for franchises they havent touched in over a decade.

I hope assist-based fighters keep the trend of keeping assists multifaceted and useful across the cast. Something that irked me about MvC3 and BBTAG is some characters just had bad assists. I feel like all that does is limit who they can be paired with and doesnt affect them on point at all.
