🎉 multer@2.4.0 finally supports Google Cloud Functions and Firebase with the new streamHandler option

JavaScript code creating a multer instance with the new streamHandler option. The handler checks if req.rawBody exists, as on Google Cloud Functions and Firebase, and feeds it to busboy with busboy.end(req.rawBody); otherwise it falls back to req.pipe(busboy). Below, an Express route uses upload.single to accept a file and respond with its name and size.

Yesterday, I deployed tgju.amirhossein.info on @fastapicloud.com, one of the most important steps in the project’s infrastructure journey. Since the migration, it handled 2K+ requests with just 2 5xx errors. Moving to FastAPI Cloud is a major step forward. I’m excited to see where it goes from here.

OpenHubble is like my baby. It’s not just a project for fun. It’s also the best thing I have ever built. From a simple one file Python script to a platform. Now that version 3.0.0 of OpenHubble Agent is released I am very happy. I guess it’s my way to grow my knowledge and my baby. Thanks.

Memory improvements in FastAPI 0.140.0 ⚡️ Around 50% less memory usage 🐬 The benchmark says 16x improvement, but that's an extreme case. It will depend on your app and usage of dependencies. Thanks to ipeluffo for the investigation! 🤓
