I think this is big. 🌠 FastAPI's objective is to provide what you always need for real prod apps. And not provide what you don't. You always want metrics, there's just not enough time to always set it all up. Now it's just there, by default.

I will keep reviewing and adjusting any AI generated code until the models can consistently one-shot produce something I would consider acceptable. I haven't been able to just "trust the model". But anyway, trust is earned, applies to humans, companies, products, AI.

Memory improvements in FastAPI 0.140.0 ⚡️ Around 50% less memory usage 🐬 The benchmark says 16x improvement, but that's an extreme case. It will depend on your app and usage of dependencies. Thanks to ipeluffo for the investigation! 🤓
