A little something to cap off #songxiaoseptember2026!! Minuscule Songxiao fairies riding on springtails (: Gagobears...

A drawing of Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen as fairies. Both wear modified outfits that show their shoulders and allow their wings to breathe. They both ride on springtails. Song Lan's colors are dark blues and grays, and his springtail is dark blue with glowing bright blue accents. Xiao Xingchen's colors are whites, golds, and a bit of black, and his springtail matches him. His wings are golden and bright blue, where Song Lan's are pale blue and lightly purple. Xiao Xingchen is delighted to see Song Lan and his springtail, whom he has on reins. Song Lan looks a bit curious instead. There is a heart between them.

my final offering for this #songxiaoseptember2026 is something i was gonna make for week 1, beginning/canon divergence AU... but i left it for last! have some good vibes to welcome in the new month #songxiao

A lineless drawn scene depicting Xiao Xingchen, Song Lan and A-Qing picking apples on a bright sunny day. A-Qing is scaling a tree and holding an apple out to Xiao Xingchen. Her outfit is green, as well as the tips of her hair. Xiao Xingchen is in his usual white, gray and black attire, though the tips of his hair are orange. He happily accepts the apple from A-Qing while holding an empty basket under one arm. Song Lan is crouching down and collecting a full basket of red apples. He is in his usual black and light blue attire and his hair is tinted blue, as well. In the back, with his hands tied and sitting on a rock, Xue Yang is staring wistfully. His hair is tipped red, and his outfit is gray and black.

i'm sorry. it was not your fault. for week 4 of #songxiaoseptember2026 #songxiao

A two-part drawing of Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen. It depicts a faded, cold, snowy atmosphere, with a somewhat abstract background suggesting buildings. Song Lan is in the first part of the image, but is only seen from behind, slumped over, his hair loose. He is kneeling on the ground, but anything past his shoulders fades away. The second part of the image depicts Xiao Xingchen, his eye wounds bandaged over, yet bleeding profusely as he faces Song Lan while a breeze picks up. Faded, glowing text over both parts of the image reads "from now on, we need not meet again".

My contribution to #SongXiaoSeptember2026! Week 4 prompts: Moonlight | Sleep | Fault/Forgiveness 🔞 Explicit 💤 Somnophilia ‼️ Mildly Dubious Consent 🍆 Top SL/Bottom XXC 🔗 ⬇️

Screenshot of the AO3 fic "Midnight in September" by Green_Riot

Summary:

Xiao Xingchen reaches out, fingers brushing the back of Song Zichen's hand. It feels good, too, and he thinks about how, just a few weeks ago, these hands wouldn't touch another person. Is it alright that Xiao Xingchen is touching him now, like this? Would Song Zichen mind while he's asleep? An inner voice cautions against taking too many liberties and overstepping the boundaries of Song Zichen's trust. What if he wakes up and decides to no longer allow Xiao Xingchen to touch him at all?

There's some stronger, deeper compulsion within Xiao Xingchen that drives him to continue. It urges him to slowly pull down the covers. I coaxes him into untying the sash holding Song Zichen's sleep robe closed, and when it falls open, Xiao Xingchen quickly pushes his hands inside, resting his hands against warm skin. Song Zichen's breathing freezes on an inhale, and Xiao Xingchen stops moving, afraid he's woken him, but with a long sigh, Song Zichen resumes his deep cyclical breaths.

What's a Daoist to do when he can't sleep at night?

#sicktember #MDZS #100wordsDrabble 18 Character gets spoiled by their caregiver Songxuexiao

“It’s a feral cat.”
Xiao Xingchen snorts weakly: “Stop it Zichen. It’s a man and he’s hurt.”
The ‘feral cat’ tried to hit him and has refused they call the police or a hospital. He’s crouched in their inner courtyard. Xingchen has managed to give him a blanket but he can’t get him to come into their home or tend to his wounds.
He goes back to him and sits.
When he pulls out a candy the man snaps his head to him.
“Want one?”
“No…”
With eager eyes.
Xingchen throws him a bunch of candies. He catches them all.

Not a request, but in the same style! A little doodle for the horror AU prompt for #songxiaoseptember2026! Xiao Xingchen's Shuanghua has surely been replaced by a human spine... and Song Lan's lantern is said to carry the spirit of a young girl. #songxiao #mdzs

A blue-tinted doodle of Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen as creatures. Song Lan's mouth is sewn shut, and he stands a bit slanted, with both arms stiffly out. He is decorated in various trinkets and jewels and is carrying a lantern. Xiao Xingchen looks about the same as his regular counterpart, but he carries his own head in his hands rather than having it attached to his neck. They are looking at each other and blushing slightly. There is a heart above Xiao Xingchen, who is smiling, and a ghostly figure resembling a shrieking girl inside Song Lan's lantern.

A little thing for #songxiaoseptember2026's week 2 crossover prompt that also doubles as request 165: Song Lan telling Xiao Xingchen that he's the love of his life! Or trying to, anyway! Part of the Moshang baby AU :) #Songxiao

A blue tinted drawing of a half-demon Song Lan and a bird demon Xiao Xingchen sitting on a stone bench. Song Lan is nervously trying to say something to Xiao Xingchen, his hands clasped. The two are blushing. Hiding poorly in a bush, Mobei-jun and Shang Qinghua observe, looking concerned or annoyed.

#songxiaoseptember2026 week 2: errands! helping people in small ways is just as important as grand sweeping gestures #songxiao #MDZS

A light illustration of Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen walking through town while assisting an elderly woman with her shopping. She is holding onto both of their arms. Xiao Xingchen is delighted and making conversation with the woman, who is dressed in green robes. He has a woven basket on his back. Song Lan looks befuddled and a little uncomfortable, but he all the same carries a basket full of produce in both his hands.

A colored pencil drawing of young teen Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen on a swing. Song Lan is sitting primly, holding tight onto the ropes, his hair in a tight bun. Xiao Xingchen is halfway standing, leaning back as he holds onto the ropes to move the swing faster. They both wear ombre clothes - white to blue/grey signaling they are in the same sect. Above them, a few branches of a tree with pink flowers rains petals.
