And that’s a person with employer-provided healthcare saying, “yknow what? I haven’t been a doctor in a few years. I should get a check up and establish some baselines with bloodwork.” It cost me $105 on top of monthly premiums. Why would I return again? How would I survive if I was ill?

I rarely go to the doctor because I’m a pretty well person, but I did a casual check up and blood work last June, which already cost me a $50 co-pay. Then TODAY, 10 months later, I got a push notification that Kaiser decided I owe $55. I can afford it, but seriously, what are we doing here?

Unfortunately for Trump, I think this portrait makes him look MUCH more refined and presidential than he does in real life. Sort of an opposite of the Vance memes, Trump should hope he's remembered this way and not as an orange-tinted bag of loose skin and white raccoon eyes.

It seems increasingly likely that the next Democratic administration won't actually be able to rebuild the federal government in any meaningful way without continuous battles about "wasteful spending" that can keep MAGAs whipped into a frenzy, so I really worry that this is it.
