The in-laws gave us a big box of quinces from their bumper harvest. Just made a big batch of quince paste/membrillo with about 1/3 of them. That stuff is like lava when it boils though. Just poured it out to cool overnight.

Went for my longest since I tore my Achilles last year. 8.5km through the hills and valleys of the French countryside. Stupid hot though. Now drinking lots of water and a small beer in the town square.

Paddling by Sion House on the Thames today by the only section in London that has wild river banks. We made friends with a cow as well.

Photo from a recent sea kayaking trip to the Dorset coast. Lovely weekend spent with my paddling club playing in the arches, caves and rocks by Old Harry, and further down the coats by Kimmeridge Bay. I still can’t paraglide due to my achilles, so sitting down in a boat is a good alternative.

@dpiponi Fourth time in a week the foxes have raided our planter in the front garden. Nothing left now except for the lavender. The window boxes have only been hit twice. Fox repellent doesn’t work and any electronic device would just be purloined. Getting tired of sweeping it all up in the morning.
