Let's start with the Tendency of the Rate of Profit to Fall Over Time. Human labor creates value, but the amount of value produced is dependent on variables like technology. As more people enter the market, there is (at first) more competition, and it takes more resources to turn a profit.

WBD currently owns a substantial percentage of AEW as a company. Upon the closing of the Paramount deal, that percentage will go to Larry Ellison (MAGA!!) and the Saudi investment fund. You are too blinded by tribalism and AEW's marketing to see the truth.

It's cute you think that proves anything. 3 million federal employees. Those living in the most populated states already had that rate due to state minimum wage laws. Most of those employees were not working for minimum wage. He gave like 100,000 people a raise at best. In a country of 340 million.

I do think the context is very important, absolutely. A wrestler lives and dies on their brand. In this case, Jack Perry was the senior employee with strong ties to others who had management positions and a grudge with CM Punk. That's why Ryan Nemeth was cutting shoot promos on AEW's top babyface.
