I’m a beginner. After a family loss from Dravet Syndrome, I developed an interest in photography, and found it very therapeutic way to express what words cannot. I enjoy capturing every day scenery and objects. I aim to evoke feelings and emotions through every photo I take. Thanks for your vote!

I was considering moving a dresser from the garage into her bedroom that will now be mine - then remembered she had scrawled her name on the back, many years ago, before she lost so many functions.

I’m as prepared for that as possible. I think. My daughter had a rare syndrome so the moms are a pretty tight bunch. I know they will always be there for me - but I also know every death is a terrifying reminder that their child might be next, so continuing support can be uncomfortable for all.
