After being really impressed with Armada Jetfire I’ve been messing with commander Rodimus and Ultra Magnus again, Magnus really is near-perfect, just those double-wide shoulders that detract from it. That’ll be fixed soon though.

Whoops, I just realized I forgot to put in an order for the Playmates Dragonzord. I guess that shows how excited I was to drop $50 and unknown shipping costs on it. Makes the rest of the line an easy skip though. No sense continuing it with the best one gated off.

FanX 2026 haul, another light year but I do this to myself by having zero time to find new interests. I didn’t see anything TF in the artist area, and there was very little in the dealer area, with everything at much higher prices than you’d pay online.

Pretty strange that the whole “Megatron Rising” capsule contains one Decepticon versus four Autobots and a Journalist and it’s not even a big name, it’s Viper. What’s little Viper gonna do against two Dinobots and a bigger and stronger jet?

As was the case for a lot of folks, I found these goons at Ross for $30 and they were speaking to me. The ground soldier is really nice, the blue and orange together are absolutely gorgeous, the seeker is much less visually interesting, and honestly I’d have preferred the ground captain instead

"Be strong enough to be gentle." If you're wondering why so many people are mourning the death of a guy who voiced a transforming cartoon robot truck it's because Peter Cullen spent 40 years with a real philosophy behind the voice. Even the silliest art can be meaningful if you care enough about it

Also these are really solid prices. Cielo for less than a Voyager? Sky Gallop for less than a leader? Blastrain for less than a Commander? Definitely worth scoping out if you’re on the fence

Thank you SAMG marketing team for ignoring the creators intentions and doubling down on Cielo and Sky Gallop both being male, giving us our first canonically gay robot in Fleta Z. How progressive!

The first Transformers Monstructor shell prototype is floating around the office, and the universal consensus is that he's too big. Currently 6"x6"x8", I'm hoping to get that down a good bit to keep the prices reasonable. He is fun as hell to play with though.

Said goodbye to these lads this week, I love them but the reality is I do not have the space for 2 sets. I don’t know what 2025 me was thinking, but current going rate did let this almost pay off both of them.
