On my first visit to Brussels since taking on responsibility for EU affairs, I met the team at Hungary's Permanent Representation to the EU. Our mission is clear: advance Hungary's national interests through constructive engagement and alliance-building. Looking forward to working together!

Hungary's European integration has been at the heart of my work throughout my career. That’s why I’m especially proud to share that, at the request of PM Péter Magyar, I am taking on responsibility for EU affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office, alongside my current public policy portfolio.

Today I had the honour of addressing Hungary's Heads of Mission Conference, representing the Prime Minister's Office. I presented the new government's key achievements during its first 100 days, our policy priorities, and how Hungary-EU relationship has evolved since the change of government.

🇭🇺 🇪🇺 Honoured to represent Hungary at the EU’s General Affairs Council. The agenda included the Article 7 procedure launched in 2018. It was an uplifting experience to share with fellow member states how Hungary is returning to the European path.

A new chapter begins: I will continue my professional journey as State Secretary for Policy Coordination at the Prime Minister’s Office in Hungary’s new government. I will serve my country with the best of my knowledge, and work every day to turn promises into reality.

🇵🇱 Dear Friends in Poland - My interview in @wyborcza.pl on Hungary’s upcoming election: wyborcza.pl/7,75399,3267... Orbán frames the election around war and Ukraine, while Magyar focuses on everyday struggles at home. The clash of these narratives will decide the outcome.

Excellent analysis from @bironagyandras.bsky.social. Like the US, Hungary has to decide if it will keep a leader who promotes fear, instead of hope and solutions. Trump, a big fan of Orban, wants to ensure that fear and authoritarianism grow in Europe. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
