Ryan wanted a new background for his Bucket Fountain tea towel, so while we were at it, we did the Pōhutukawa too. We took the background photo of the tea towel a few hundred metres further along the beach from where this actual tree stands in Hikoikoi Reserve. birdandbeach.co.nz/product/art-...

And the great thing about adding alt text to your images is that it took just enough time that the coasters cooled down so I could put them in their presentation box.

Tell me, do you use your fancy tea towels, or keep them for good? I’m in the “keep them nice for baking day” camp. They do dry well, but it’s so nice wrapping a fresh batch of scones or loaf of bread straight out of the oven in something pretty. birdandbeach.co.nz/product-cate...

No shame in that! After Elisabeth’s dad died, her mum decided it was time to finally use the good china, and not just on Xmas & birthdays. The Noritake in the dishwasher, everyday. Now we each have a well-worn plate to remind us of them. I bet your tea towels remind you of your mum’s love too. Xx
