🏭48-year study of soil #copper #contamination near a Bulgarian smelter shows Cu is a stubborn #pollutant: despite modern emission controls, historical deposition still dominates today's #soil levels. Contamination patterns also grew more complex, spreading further from the source over time. ⤵️
