Obviously I have started a whole new email chain asking if they are planning on sending me my watch any time soon...

I also sent an additional reply saying can you please confirm you got my reply and that you will be sending my watch now. Today my replacement straps for the watch they still haven't sent arrived...

Obv I said send me the other colour, and then immediately ordered replacement straps from somewhere else. Two days later they mailed me again to ask if I'd decided what I wanted to do yet(?!!). I replied that they could check the email thread they were in to see my answer, which was send me a watch!

After the three business days they said it would take to ship i emailed to ask where it was, and they told me the colour I ordered had "unexpectedly gone out of stock" and offering either a refund, a different colour, or just wait I guess.

Urgh I bought a new watch more than a week ago and they still haven't shipped it. I am starting (hah) to get real irritated.

My favourite trick was I rounded up our variable bills a while back so the "excess" over what we actually pay goes into a pot for when rates go nuts. Savings but only for bills. Actually any bank account that lets you set up pots is so helpful!

We have it down to a fine art now. For me the key was many, many spreadsheets lol. Weirdly I still have some of my budgetary habits from back when I had weekly pay. I still feel weird about doing more than 1 wash a week lol.

It is our 16th Wedding anniversary this year - 26 years together in total. As I am turning 47, we have already past the 50% mark. We have been together longer than we were apart.

If you don't mind being a bit baffled I recommend passive listening to Japanese audio. I quite often go to sleep listening to Japanese news :)

I sometimes think that English subs are worse for putting Japanese words to meaning, because the grammar is the wrong way round. I definitely have them on if I want to know what's happening, but 2nd or 3rd watch i like the challenge of putting sound to kanji.

Love it. The whole thing is just beautiful. I've seen it so much i always watch it in Japanese with Japanese subs. I can't say I get every word tho!
