I must say, I used to fully addicted (maybe still am) to doom scrolling. But reading regularly and with purpose has massively remedied this. Even after just a couple of hours of reading a proper physical paper book, I feel calmer and my mood lifted. I wonder if anyone else feels this way 🤔 💙📚

4. I’ve read a few far-far future dystopian SF/fantasy novels lately, even tho it’s not a favorite subgenre. But Jemisin’s vision of feared born earth manipulators & deadly weather events is fascinating. I had trouble keeping the POV characters straight, but there’s a good reason for that. #booksky
