There are also livestock guardian dogs, so Vanken could be like that for Mutn I like how the book portrays them as partners instead, though

Cool, I've never heard of Kei's. He must be a rookie.

Billy @billywashere5.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Oh, did they say it in the book?

Billy @billywashere5.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

They’re probably doing this so they more to do, Miyazawa could also be playing Mutn

This could definitely happen

This is really neat, some sort of bizzaro version of Nelvana

Regardless of Datt’s placement in the rider hierarchy. She does seem to be getting a lot of attention in promotional material and merch. Her suit actress having played many major roles also helps her case.

Be careful what you wish for. I'm glad more people are gonna be able to watch, but what they're getting is a worse deal than what we got with the Zeztz.

Billy @billywashere5.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

With all due respect, I think that's a massive reach.

Billy @billywashere5.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

If it was one or the other it'd be one thing. But it's both and that's what's so frustrating.

Happy power rangers day! Later today if I can, either a gif or a render of a power ranger. For now here is this goofy render I did once.

Honestly, I'm more interested in this stuff than playable Donald and Goofy. Though the latter is cool.

Here's over a decade of potential adaptations that'll probably never happen because of a need to be synergistic with the brand image of a show from the early 90s

-Sentai Seasons that could be adapted into PR-

Could Absolutely Work if they weren't cowards:
- Gozyuger: good suits and maybe Hasbro'd be more willing to do a legacy figure line if they only have to do the red rangers
- Zenkaiger: literally the only thing stopping them would be the numbers on the helmets, but that's what adaptations are for in the first place
- Kiramager
- Boonboomger
- ToQger: only at the bottom of this tier due to trains supposedly being a niche interest

Could Also Work but yeah the green screen environments could be an issue:
- King-Ohger: I mean I guess they could limit themselves to the scenes without green screens, but this one still feels like it'd be more work than standard

Paw Patrol and Persona 5 exist, let kids experience some nuance:
- Lupat

Kinda Iffy but they could probably do a video game theme or something:
- Zyuohger: mainly just cause of the Zords
- Donbrothers: mainly cause I know PR is allergic to foreign culture references so this'd probably be the most acceptable route. Also if they wanted original fight scenes they'd have to shoot around Inu/Kiji

If they wanted to do lore seasons based on previous ones then yeah:
- Kyoryuger Brave: I mean they already do this shit all the time in the PR comics they might as well do it with the Dino Charge team
- Kyuranger: you could easily just make a prequel season to adapt the Zords they didn't use in Cosmic Fury

Probably not but it'd be funny if they did:
- Akibaranger: maybe the twist would be they'd realize they were in an adaptation and had to fight the Zyurangers

Well it was pretty funny, could've fooled me. At the same time I doubt anyone working on the supposed reboot cared enough to know what a 'Donbrothers' is.
