Loved it. Great comics this week and this was way up there

Honestly. One minute I’m talking with friends about how I’m buying without enthusiasm (and some weeks I buy almost nothing). But then weeks like this, almost everything is great!

Crazy week of comics. I enjoyed everything but Jonah Hex was notably great. Demon is gorgeous. The Stranger is great. JSA with art by Teddy K is excellent. £35 worth of books. Read in 2 hrs but no complaints

Me aged in 16/17. “Jim Lee Batman!?! Imagine if Jim Lee ever drew Batman?”. At this point I’d happily never see a Jim Lee Batman again. Still love this pin-up despite the made gradients. Every Batman comic has another Jim Lee samey variant. Who buys them all!?

I find this so funny. “We know men are looking for soulmates, for connection. It’s not just physical. But also, big boobs”

The butler role in Clue was originally considered for Leonard Rossiter who then died, then Rowan Atkinson who was not well known enough. Rossiter would have been amazing

Playing Ball X Pit and what a game. A ball bouncing, wall breaking, asset management, Roguelike. Totally compelling and addictive. I bought it months ago and started on it this week and am struggling with stopping at night (eg 1am now)

hey, i do have a thing for the thing, for once / from the giant folder of what ifs: the dredd episode i was going to draw (a long time ago) got sabotaged (along with everything else) by health issues, but here's a drawing i did back then

this was long enough ago that there may have not even been clip studio for the ipad, i possibly would have drawn this in... medibang?

This is the most remarkable story Ray Bradbury ever shared with me. He told it to me late one night, sitting in his den of antiquities and mementos. Take five minutes to read this. It’s pure magic. #Writing #Living #Creativity #RayBradbury #BookSky

There’s a comic collecting all his covers (28?) telling the life of Spidey, similar to one they did of Batman. Out in October.

I think Wolverine is second to Batman for great art. Skroce, Adam, to a lesser extent Andy, Byrne, Lee, Adams, Mignola, JRJr, Risso. The list goes on
