Watched "Green For Danger " last night, seen it many times (it's good fun). had a mini existential crisis, thought "this is probably the last time I'll see this film!" (FYI I'm 61) 🤣

#Blokees #Daredevil Born Again , a mere £14 from AliExpress with coupons. (Looks a little like Dan Stevens in this image?)

Oh how I'd love to see a #DocSavage big budget movie. Though as the John Carter movie was perceived as a rip off , general public might not see past the Superman comparison.

Just tried a chicken mcmuffin, apart from the existential 'mother and child reunion' qspect, it was not nice . #greasy

Just watched "The Horse of the Invisible" episode of "The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes" on Network DVD. Excellent Edwardian ghost tale with an impeccable cast. Akin to a period Scooby Doo (which is high praise).

I don't get a lot in the way of engagement here sadly.

#TonightsMovie "The End of Oak Street" (2026) "Amblin lite" with the plot from an Outer Limits episode. Merely okay.

This week's #StrangeNewWorlds was awful. However I did like the #Burnistoun reference.

Sadly my #Tumblr has been popular in the past 24 hours, due entirely to Dolly Partons sad passing (she has always featured heavily).

Loved season 2 of #CapedCrusader . Well written, Batman is not the focus (and is actually pretty unlikable), excellent reimagined villains, and people die, lots of people!

#TonightsMovie The Lathe of Heaven (1980) superior TV movie where ideas make up for an obviously miniscule budget.

Loving this. John Lithgow's reading is like happily listening to an old pals stories for the umpteenth time.

Reading the final chapter of #CarlSagan 'The Demon-Haunted World', terrifying how well he predicted the flaws of our modern social media landscape. He foresaw an era where sensationalism, reduced attention spans, and an inability to cross-examine claims would reshape public discourse.

#TonightsMovie "The Possessed" (1965) Excellent Italian whodunit, told through flashbacks , fever dreams and moody supposition. Shot in detached stark black and white , there's an all pervasive faint wind seemingly in every scene unifying the bleakness.

#TonightsMovie "As Above, So Below" (2014) Blair Witch meets Last Crusade with a dose of Backrooms before it even existed. A few spooky moments but never quite gels.
