Anyway, just some thinking I've been doing lately on a now 20+-year-old habit. Re-dedicated to RSS as a news source, and it's working pretty well and minimizing histrionics/other bad mojo that you get from social media sites sometimes.

None of the other "short form text" website are any better these days. I think I'm giving up on the format somewhat. Social media in general is just a lot. And really pondering how much of it I actually need in my life. I have enough group chats elsewhere to sustain my social battery.

Incidentally I am fading away from this site. I am finding it lacks any of the fun of the good ol' days of Twitter. Maybe I am just following the wrong people. Maybe the people I enjoyed posting over there don't post here. Maybe a little of both.

Listening to Fatboy Slim - Better Living Through Chemistry which is somehow 30 years old. Up after that is another 30 year old album, Dub Narcotic Sound System's Boot Party. Two of my favs in early college.
