@nerd4cities.bsky.social the marymoor sign has been fixed! thank you for using your platform...
the east lake sammamish trail with a wayfinding sign finally in its correct orientation. a family is walking along the trail and there's a 2 line train approaching on the overhead track. everyone lets out a sigh of relief, remembering for a brief moment that things *can* get better.

Kinda surprised it pulled Illinois despite the concentration on the west coast. mydialect.us/quiz-full.html
MyDialect heat map with concentrations in the west, midwest, and northeast. "You talk most like someone from Illinois - about 55% of your answers match a typical resident."

the new alert is wrong again! it should be shuttles from judkins to cap hill. also, no shuttle location is provided for judkins, just for every other station along the closure. why is this so hard?

Redmond City Council is scheduled to formalize some code updates tonight. Among them, replacing language which included "animal drawn vehicles" with "micromobility devices" instead.

gorgeous day in seattle - joined the ballard link demonstration march from ballard to elliott bay park, then ended up walking down the waterfront to the international district for dinner before taking the train up to meet friends in the u district. looking forward to a more sedentary day tomorrow!

and the full document is up: www.redmond.gov/DocumentCent... love this bit

The Appellants offered testimony from a professional transportation engineer who submitted a professional opinion that contradicted that of the Applicant’s transportation consultant; however, Mr. Bishop testified repeatedly that his analyses and conclusions were based on the assumption that the target residents of the project were expected to obtain employment and eventually move off-site to independent living situations. As demonstrated by the Applicant’s witnesses and documentary evidence, the approved permanent supportive housing aims to provide permanent homes to individuals who are not expected to ever be able to hold full-time employment or to move off-site.
