#TBT To My Kanchi | We used to have a great time walking through the neighborhood. After she passed away in 2015, I didn't want any more #dogs in the house, watching her leave this world was something I just couldn't bear to see. But she taught me to accept & let go of the things we can't control.

It was the day I first showed symptoms of Alt. sickness. I had to spend the night here in a tent before crossing the pass. I couldn't sleep all night, woke up around 3:30 AM & set off for the extremely #challenging pass under a starlit sky. Down in Samdo, I even dropped my headlight into the valley.

High-altitude mountain pass in the Himalayas blanketed in fresh snow with heavy clouds hovering over the glacier trail signaling an approaching snowstorm.

Yes, obviously, there're predators. Black bears, Leopards & Tigers are often seen in the forest. You'd love the trailrun here as the path is almost challenging & extreme & above the cloud view from the top. I didn't have any view from the top that day. Everything was shrouded by the fog.
