It’s astonishing that in Portland, where people will feed bad for misgendering your dog, that there are some people who are utterly convinced that there are 2 dogs named BB who look alike in the neighborhood, no matter how often we explain that she just more than one dad.

BB, a brown brindle Mountain Cur who allegedly has an identical twin.

I suppose when you have a catalogue like hers, “GBI (German Bold Italic)” seems like a deep cut. For me, though, it was the first time I ever heard Kylie Minogue and it was so perfectly targeted to me that it’s always been my favorite.

I have MANY thoughts about religion, but at the core of them is that it’s VERY HARD to fully love and respect other people, especially outside your tribe, and that’s where most people of faith lose the plot — including my atheist self. Dolly seemingly lived that ideal far better than most.
