also you get a weapon called the Cloud Sword with the description "The Cloud Sword harnesses the power of the clouds and has nothing to do with anything else." You also later get a machine gun arm. This, more than anything, is proof that these devs lived and breathed the emo scene lmao

The Cloud Sword from The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, which totally doesn't evoke the Buster Sword from Final Fantasy 7. I dunno where you got that crazy idea from.

messing around with my Retroid Pocket 6 again and finally gave The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile a go this game is both (affectionately) a culmination of the 2000's emo scene while also being 2D Ninja Gaiden and I love it I need the devs to hop off doing soulslikes and get back to this kinda shit
