So proud of you for standing up for the community. I read a story a few years ago about a kid whose parents kicked them out for being queer. They had nowhere to go, but wandered by a house with a pride flag and asked for help. It does make a difference.

If you get over the stigma, people choose drugs to match their wounds if they have access. Therefore, if you want people to use less drugs, then you remove the conditions that cause distress. It's never been hard. They do it on purpose. They control us.
