The noise helps the home team. So when you play games as a guest, the "noise" effects lower the noise of their home fans. In Tournament mode, you always play the 3rd and 4th game away.

I'm not blaming Balatro for anything. I'm just saying that 18+ sticker doesn't hurt anyone and it might help in some rare cases where parents neglect their children and they take a wrong direction in life. Young kids cannot discern roguelike mechanics from predatory stuff when it's visually similar.

Idk, I am addicted to Balatro as well. I thought about this a lot recently, and I'm starting to accept that if a young child only gets to see poker as main addiction, it can affect them long term. It's maybe very rare, but if 18+ sticker can save one life, I think it's worth those missed sales, no?

POV: An acquaintance killed himself recently after being mobbed by local gambling sharks for his debt. I recall playing poker on C64 with him as 12-year old kids and he was enchanted by it since. It might have happened anyway, but I changed my mind. Both Balatro and loot box nonsense should be 18+.

The Sharp Tranket transistor radio (1960)

A radio that combines the design language of old American muscle cars and the spacerace. The top is forest green with tailfins, the bottom is ivory white, and the front is shining silver, on a silver stand. Up top we find a single antenna, a red power/volume dial, and you turn the 'intake" of the rocket to change the stations (the tuning display is immediately behind the engine, incoporated into the body).

The problem is athletes are overpaid for how they play. Shorten the season, lower the number of games, lower the Max contracts and salary cap, give them more time to rest and practice their skill. This is the first season I'm watching more Euroleague games than NBA.

Idk, when a person writes "I will find you and hurt you" it dones't look like they are yelling at an anonymous company. They want someone responsible to target them. Maybe if you run into such people yourself, you will change your mind.

I guess it depends on how much can you handle people hating you. There are examples of celebrities succumbing to pressure and even committing suicide. Some people are just able to shrug it off, some not. If you're getting your real name out there, you need to be prepared to take some heat.

Some people prefer to keep their privacy. I know devs who got death threats and I personally got threats of physical violence from players who were bad at a game and blamed me. Such people are often not the brightest, so not laying out your name in plain sight is usually enough to keep them away.

I liked Dark Souls 1 system where the weapon needs sharpening, but you can only do it at the blacksmith, at least in the early game. It made me have a secondary which I was basically forced to test every once in a while. Too bad they didn't keep it for the late game and in sequels.
