Yeah, and always, music energizes and motivates and inspires. I am listening to "Dawn" by Julian Gray, and it makes me daydream about my game. The opening cutscene. I wonder if I could ask Julian if I can use his song as the theme song for my game, and then I can do remixes of it as a motif.

Or... I just go "fuck it, we ball", and endure as I have already. Plug away at the assets, even if it takes forever and I hate it. Use that timer, 3 hours each day, and I need to stop making excuses. Even if I did a commission that day, still work on my game and any assets for 3 hours.

I don't know what to do. I still don't think I can do FireHeart Saga, even if I changed my mind just now. I really want to make games, but I wonder exactly how I can do that. I don't want to have to make so many animations for attacks and abilities, so many sprites. I don't know what to do.

This is funny, it really is. However. I don't think I have any "keep politics out of furry uwu" people following me, but if i do, you need to think about this. No amount of keeping it SFW is going to be enough for him. They will make your hobby political, and owning that is our only defense.

Oh yeah, and I also got a notice in the mail about my health insurance. It's about Donald Trump's "Work and Community Engagement Rule" to keep health insurance. I do have an income, so I think I'll be okay. But how long will I be able to keep that income? This is just means testing shit.

I also dont want to make tilesets. Too many objects or things I have to make. So at this rate, is RPG Architect software I can even use to make games? Those 100 hours of learning the software were a waste of time then? None of those skills are transferable. I want to make a RPG though.

I guess all I have left is visual novels. I can make that as a solo dev... except they can be boring. I want A DRAGON RPG WHERE YOU PLAY AS A DRAGON. I am not sure how to make a visual novel out of that. All I can do is draw and make icons or UI. I dont want to make sprites, too difficult

Hell, remember when I wanted to write? I couldn't even do that. Got too bogged down with world building, Norse autheticity, and making things consistent, when all I wanted to fucking do was write. I just want to make shit man, I am tired of building up shit that feels useless.

As a game dev, I could pivot to making games that don't have animated sprites, but only animated for effects or UI. That is the only hope for me. Otherwise, my first project was a major overscope. I need to look at what I can best, and do it quickly, and that is draw or some graphic design.

Yeah... things are going to get truly worse for me... there is no hope for me, as a solo game dev, or with being able to make enough money to feel comfortable, and like I can relax for once. The stress and depression us getting to me. I feel numb and hollow, and like I want to disappear.

It's actually very difficult to just watch Saturday Night Live with my mom on live TV, on a streaming service. Because of the sheer amount of ads about GLP-1s, those weight loss drugs, and even other drugs that do the same thing. It is very difficult to not get triggered and angry.

Thoughts in bed, before I go to sleep. It appears that I've consistently worked on art every day now. Doing them in a step per day, like doing the WIP one day, then doing the rest the next day. This method appears to be preventing burnout! Or, I do the lineart one day, then coloring the next.
