Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden Basically non-grunge albums lol

Stayed up late to see the blood moon thingy and clouds started rolling in right when its about to happen. And it's raining already. Absolutely horrible luck, man.

As years go by, my opinion of the PS3 being the best PlayStation console only gets stronger. Especially when you hack/jailbreak it, it really is such a capable machine. And the XMB is untouchable, it's such a beautiful and feature-filled UI system. Also, free online multiplayer! Simpler times.

The Old Country is a looker. Loving the dynamic between Enzo and Isabella, they're so cute.

Happy to see Mafia selling well. I've been going through it very slowly, just enjoying every minute of it. Hopefully this means well for the future of cinematic AA games play.st/3JTWWVL

Buying new clothes < thrifting < taking my dad's old clothes 👍👍 Seriously tho, i just like how some vintage clothes ages, it looks comfy in its own way.

I gotta say, dating someone that has similar politics as you and is not afraid in talking about it is such a fun time. Maybe that's the thing that I needed all this time. It makes it easier for me to be trusting in one another.

Gonna try to start a routine of running early in the morning. Seeing the sun rise is such a mood booster for me.

Been only a few hours since the Battlefield 6 open beta servers shut down, and my life is already a shell of its former self

Only got time for 2 conquest matches in Battlefield 6 but man, it clears 2042 already. The sound design is impeccable, and the destruction physics are probably the best its ever been. Not to mention the game just feels much more well designed, the overall pacing of the action is much more enjoyable.

So far, Mafia The Old Country is the cinematic gaming comfort food that I've desperately needed. Can see it being my GOTY tbh

000

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 03/08/2025

Feeling like the lowest point i had in a while. Desperately need to touch grass and just do more stuff instead of rotting indoors, but lately I'm almost always feeling tired and sluggish. Not to mention the ol' insomnia kicking in. What a curse.

010

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 30/07/2025

I admit this year's slate of games have mostly been not that interesting for me so far. But August is where it really start to heat up for me. Mafia The Old Country, Sword of the Sea, Gears of War Reloaded, MGS Delta are all looking to be huge Ws.

Dating sucks the life out of me. Dealing with the diabolical design of dating apps especially makes me pretty jaded. Been going through a bunch of revolving doors in the past 2 years. Would love to settle for real someday😅

I've been thinking about doing a marathon of Naughty Dog games, I really feel like it's the right time replay their games. I probably will get distracted midway, but at the very least I could do the OG Crash trilogy.

010

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 10/07/2025

Ghost of Yotei is shaping to be an absolute hoot. Hits all the right notes for me, as somebody who adores Tsushima. Time to get ready for the GOTY.

This is probably my last digicam pickup for a while. Cost me about 100 USD for the camera, and I had to import the battery for like 35 USD because I couldn't find anybody selling it locally. It's definitely one of my cutest cameras, other than my OG Konica Pop.

Started The Plucky Squire. This is such a wonderful, jolly time so far. Easily the most well executed cartoon art style in a game since Cuphead. I can't get enough of how adorable it is. Especially these frogs!

Starting the TLOU part II Chronological mode and it's already so cursed for me. Starting off with Abby just feels so wrong lol, it's like starting with Raiden in MGS2. But I'm excited to have another way to appreciate the game even more.

Booting up Uncharted 4 multiplayer in 2025 and it's still relatively easy to find other people to play with. I come back to play this every couple months or so. It has way longer longevity for me than all of the live service wannabes that is so common these days.

010

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

The whole timeline is dunking on Splitgate 2 because of the dumb guy with the dumb MAGA parody hat and the dumb trailer. I swear to god if this whole thing causes the game to not get any traction and die, I will be so pissed. It's an actual great game but they're shooting themselves on the foot 😢

010

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

This year's Summer Game Fest is kinda like it always has been; definitely too long, too many ads, but there's enough neat smaller stuff and some big surprises to make it all feel okay. RE Requiem's premise is so interesting. Stranger Than Heaven looks like the coolest game ever made. 6.5/10 for me!

010

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 05/06/2025

Caught up with the State of Play. That is probably their best show in a long time. 007 and Marvel Tokon looks phenomenal! Pragmata confirmed to not be vaporware, which is nice. And it's great to see Suda come back with something absolutely unhinged. Lots of other cool stuff too. Great SGF kickoff!

000

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 31/05/2025

After thinking about it more, i think I'm gonna double down on collecting old digicams, instead of getting an analog SLR or a modern interchangeable lens camera. My clumsiness would be dangerous for the SLR, and I just don't care enough about collecting a bunch of lenses.

000

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 28/05/2025

I was gonna buy an used Olympus E-PM2 and 14-42 Zuiko pancake lens, but for some reason the store page kept raising the price for me like 10% everytime it's on my cart. Shady af. I just took it as a sign from the gods telling me not to empty my pockets😅

010

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 23/05/2025

A bit deeper in Metaphor ReFantazio, and I'm starting to realize that I actually prefer the combat/dungeon exploration gameplay compared to the social/non combat stuff. We've come a long way since putting Persona 3/4 on Easy so I can spend more time doing the social links😄

000

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 21/05/2025

Blasted through the first 9-10 hours of Metaphor ReFantazio in one sitting, got to beat the first "real" dungeon with proper bosses. This game is absolutely incredible. I'm sure it will have ups and downs later, but man I'm loving it so far. Can't wait to get to know these characters more.

000

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 21/05/2025

A few hours in Metaphor ReFantazio. It really feels like the Atlus boys just made a straight up old school dark fantasy JRPG. Not necessarily old school in gameplay, but the vibes of the world makes it feels like so. Really liking it so far, it's as stylish as it is thorough.

Better late than never.

000

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

Apparently Bungie plagiarized art for Marathon, and i think that just killed all my interest for the game. Such a bummer.

010

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 14/05/2025

Backloggd started a 2007 replay event. Pretty good year for games! I really wanted to slot Uncharted 1 in here somewhere but the competition's tough, haha. It's still crazy to me that God of War 2 is released in 2007. Very late swan song for the PS2.

010

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 13/05/2025

I decided to finally publish the definitive Uncharted tier list.

000

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 10/05/2025

Happy 9th birthday to Uncharted 4! As somebody who has been playing on PlayStation since the PS2 days, I would say that U4 is the best game that Sony ever published. It just keeps getting better as it ages.

Tried Dragon Age 2 on a whim a few days ago. 10 hours in and I'm loving it! It's kinda wild that it's basically the opposite of Origins. Much longer story time period, way less globetrotting, more personal stakes (helping your family survive). Bold but great decision. P.S. I love Merrill so much!

I'm kinda tired of Valorant rn (and the next Battle Pass doesn't interest me at all) so I'm trying out Fragpunk. It's pretty okay! The gunplay is very Call of Duty, barely any recoil, but movement is way slower. My favs to play so far are Nitro and Dex (Krogan from Mass Effect vibes).

000

Bam @bigbam.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

Watched season 1 of The Misfit of Demon King Academy on a whim. I was recommended this a while ago, and I thought it would be one of those trashy animes. Its way better than it has any right to be! The balance of ironic edginess, impactful emotional moments, and over-the-top action is impeccable.

Tried Binary Domain and finished it in two sittings. Man I wish RGG kept making shooters, they're pretty good at it. As a cover shooter fan this ticks all the right boxes for me, and then some. This is probably my favorite RGG game.

I have said this before but the mix of traditional Japanese and Western spaghetti in the Ghost of Yotei soundtrack so far is just so delightful. Can't wait to listen to the whole thing. youtu.be/7wR7Jakf72E
