Where is accountability for media and broadcasters for this? For years, they sold consumers a league fueled by fraud while they celebrated the success of cheaters. Many profitted from City's fraud. Many suffered too. Other sports and leagues suffered as a result of this doping.

Reducing fixtures is a logistical challenge for the PL. One idea, full of wrinkles- suppose 2 PL clubs face each other in the FA or EFL cups, and those teams have at least 1 remaining PL fixture between them... could they have an option to have the single fixture count in both comps?

Grew up playing soccer in USA, but TV coverage was focused on other sports. I watched a ton of baseball, NYY. In late 2000s YES network featured Arsenal in off-season programming, showing BTS, CL and PL games. Fell in love with Fabregas and Wenger ball. I belonged

Kai sets a tone. If ref is allowing a a physical game, Kai says "ok, I can do that." Odegaard was mostly good when he came on, but once again very soft in duels i.e. watching his man head a ball. Kai raises physical intensity and steel in a way MO cannot

United's goal is 100% on saliba and arteta... saliba is being asked to do too much and spends too much time standing on the ball and dribbling. I know he has the skill to dribble, but he should be just moving the ball safely. He does it often, so it must be instruction. CB passes need not be genius

I prefer the comfort of being defensively sound, even if it means we are risk averse at the other end. It will keep us in games and is more predictably successful. Remember when Mikel inherited this team, Auba, Laca, Pepe, Ozil but who was behind them? Embrace our current identity. Who would revert?

From an outside observer, a consumer of American style sports reporting, which can be exhaustingly statisticly driven, especially in baseball, most of the coverage of the EPL in the newspapers and TV, is surface level nonsense about spending, sacking and mentality.
