New OC ready just in time for artfight! She's from a mercantile nation that controls an inland sea, lots of Age of Sail vibes. Stuck on a boring post cause she keeps biting off more than she can chew while trying to show off, overshadowing her actual competence. #art

Updated my Mortasheen TTRPG supplement with 5 new monsters and a new location! Have a look, it's free! big-bee.itch.io/bees-lab-mor... #art #mortasheen #ttrpg

This image shows the 5 new monsters added in v1.2 of Bee's Lab Mortamanual, a free fanmade supplement for the Mortasheen TTRPG.

-The Slurreka, which looks like a pile of vomit with a massive, gaping maw, two red eyes and two muppety feet poking out from under its amorphous flesh.

-The Oversear, a biotech robot with three long, telescopic legs and three eyes. It has a wide-brimmed helmet-like piece of armour, but most of its body is covered in shadow in this image.

-The Ophismet, which is like a snake with featherless bird skin, several pairs of bare wings and a head made of the top halves of two bird skulls. A single eye peers out from one of the sockets.

-The Izzap, a creature with a segmented, spiky, vaguely arrow-shaped metal carapace and two long tentacles that split into three "fingers".

-The Shxxt, which is sorta like a black, jagged stick insect with a sea urchin for a head.

Here's her construct. My DM often makes Monster Hunter-inspired icons for his monsters and I wanted to try something similar. But I'm too used to giving everything a sticker-like outline... I couldn't help it even though it makes it match the style less... #art #dnd #5e

New DnD character, Toret Deeptooth! She is a Llotolan (homebrew race my DM made) Artificier (Battle Smith). She's kind of an irritable prick but tries to stay professional. A little racist too, but that's par for the course for a llotolan, really. Could be far worse. #dnd #5e #art

An axolotl person with a boxy head, black skin and pink external gills. There are yellow markings resembling those of a tiger salamander on her arms.

You can't really tell from the drawing, but her head is shelled, with the jagged "teeth" being a part of the hardened carapace. She has regular teeth in there too, it's like a "double skulled" situation as my DM described it.

She is wielding a two-pronged spear.

Well, there are a number of things I wanted to get done before the year ended, and got around to very few of them. I wanted to finally make a website, for one. Can't be too mad though, I got to help out on Mortasheen, and I even released a homebrew supplement for it! #artof2025 #artsummary

Bee's Art 2025

January: Some sort of bubblegum golem. (The Troublegum from Bee's Lab Mortamanual, my homebrew Mortasheen expansion.)

February: A tentacled brain monster (The Bellumpath from the same Mortasheen expansion.)

March: A tentacled monster with a big blue eye. (Oraculus, Mortasheen again.)

April: 3 versions of the same, cleaver-like greatsword. One is normal, one is more silvery with a cloudy fox engraving and one that's the same with half of it discoloured black. It's all I got for that month.

May: A long-necked cnidarian monster with a head like a jellyfish. (Cnaptide, Mortasheen again.)

June: A drain-fly person wearing a witch hat.

July: A cool deer with red glasses. (Artfight attack for Cheyeee/cheyezstuffz)

August: A bee person with big swirly hairfluff covering one eye. (Artfight attack for Tw1nkle_Spr1nkle)

September: An earthworm-like monster with googly eyes (Exovermic from Bee's Lab Mortamanual also, just like the rest of the entries from now.)

October: A long-necked monster with a keratinous "helmet" ending in a spear-like snout. There are sea urchin-like growths on its back. (Spinejector, Mortasheen.)

November: A hemispherical monster with a stalk ending in a big maw. (Unzed, Mortasheen)

December: A bulbous robot with tentacles ending in funnels. Green slime pours from them. (Flubberhose, also Mortasheen)

Seems like I didn't do much in April and August, so I had to resort to some swords and an Artfight attack that only counts due to the event lasting for a few hours into August 1.

The Flubberhose is a custodial Biomech designed to remove unwanted biological material from a wide area. It lives symbiotically with a unique Scourpuss-strain slime, which it directs and commands in order to feed or fight. Both creatures are dependent on the other for survival. #mortasheen #art

Flubberhose - Composite Custodian

A mechanical monster with a round, bulbous central chassis, which holds its one eye. Several segmented tentacles come out of the bottom, each ending in a funnel shaped like a bike horn. Vibrant green slime pours out of them.

🐝Big Bee.png🐝 @big-bee.bsky.social · 29/12/2025

The Unzed is a Fectoid designed to emulate the zombie plague that affects Retrohumans. It drives the infected into a frenzy and makes them transmit a short-lived, non-sapient version of its infection form through biting. #mortasheen #art

Unzed - Cyanotic Hysteria

A hemispherical central body with two narrow eyes and three pairs of tentacles coming out of round growths. On top of its body is a tentacle ending in an oversized, slobbering maw with long, narrow teeth.
The bottom of its body is encircled by a wet, gummy "frill", the edge of its true mouth.
