Well here's a screenshot of the paragraph and a link to the story. Anyone that cares can look at the archive.io version to see he had lots of grievances, to the point it sounds like you're misrepresenting what he had to say. www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/campaig...
Screenshot from the article linked in post. Text reads: Michigan Senate candidate Abdul el Sayed has emerged as one of the clearest examples of a progressive Democrat openly revisiting and criticizing the Obama era while running for federal office. El Sayed spent years criticizing Obama, at various points writing that the country was “not better off than we were before him,” that the 44th president “had a list of failures,” and that he “was not the right choice.”

They do talk about the difference briefly, but you have to get to paragraph 18 to do it. The story really is a lazy mess of he-said-she-said with a healthy dose of ignoring reality, like right wingers claiming they are moving for better schools.

As a result, he broadened the reach a few years later, launching Flee Red States. Since then, he says he has 40 closings related to the project and more than 875 people on a mailing list. He says he's even helped people move out of the country.

McCranie says for some of his clients, the stakes are much higher than simply whether they can have a political conversation over the back fence. "People are moving because they don't feel safe in their own state, in their own country," he says.

Whelp, today we learned another way your abandonment hurt people you claim to care about. The Republicans are now trying to remove federally subsidized student loans.

I've been muted by the account I'm replying to, but if anyone else is tempted to believe as they do, please read this and reconsider. We need to be moved by data, not vibes. Source www.pewresearch.org/politics/202...
Screenshot of Pew Research quote:

As in prior elections, a change in voters’ partisan allegiances – switching from the Democratic to the Republican candidate or vice versa – proved to be a less important factor in Trump’s victory than differential partisan turnout. In the overall electorate and among key demographic groups, Republican-leaning eligible voters simply were more likely to turn out than Democratic-leaning eligible voters in 2024.

Here's what they announced Thursday. I don't see one for yesterday.
