Michelle Trachtenberg trained for 8 months to become an accomplished ice skater to star in the Disney movie The Ice Princess, succumbing to multiple injuries in the process & often working 20 hours a day. That's some amazing levels of devotion & commitment. Rest in Peace Michelle ⛸️

The lovely Debbie McGee's life story would make a fascinating red. As a teenager she was a ballerina in the Iranian National Ballet & escaped the Iranian Revolution, losing most of her possessions as a result. She managed to get back to the UK and had to rebuild her life from scratch.

When the Doctor reads her letter & criticises its sentence structure thinking it was sent to her, before complimenting it when she tells him she wrote it, it's a nod to how the "Bond, James Bond" catchphrase originally came from Sylvia!

I've just found out that the girl on the Orient Express in recent #DoctorWho episode Joy To The World, played by Niamh Marie Smith, was named Sylvia Trench in the credits. Apparently this was intentional, writer Steven Moffat has stated that she *is* Sylvia.
