I would be driving to Florida and there were hours and hours when no one knew where I was but it was cool because that's just the way it was. I would call my bestie maybe from Tennessee but prob just from my dad's place in St. Cloud.

He may be referring to high fuel prices, yet when he says "let'em take out Los Angeles" I really only hear it as an invitation to attack it in some way. He's a loose cannon. We shouldn't have to parse his speech this much.
