Well, a day late but better than a week. Update to the restoration guide coming soon.

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

For reference, MovieZyng links are also available on the restoration website for those that are also facing the same delays getting Collector's Vault Volume 2 (which releases tomorrow, woo)

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

Thanks for nothing, Amazon. Guess I'll be switching to MovieZyng moving forward for Blu-rays. For reference, this was ordered on the day pre-orders opened. Unfortunately, this means the Collector's Vault Volume 2 update for the restoration guide likely won't be coming until around next week. Sorry.

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 23/12/2025

Well, Collector's Vault Volume 2 got announced so I better get going to update this now.

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 08/12/2025

And here it is, the entire series on Blu-ray. Can't wait to finally get into it.

From this point forward I will be using the above account for inquiries related to the website. This will now be main personal account for about anything else not related to the website from this point forward.

So far, news about the website is going to come on this profile in the meantime, but some other WIP is stabilizing the calculator a bit and an external blog. Their ETA are unknown, but this has been a very large passion project and I can't believe it's finally done!

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: I am proud to finally announce that the website I was working on, the Looney Tunes Restoration Guide, has officially launched! With some basic info on each of the shorts and home media releases, a calculator, and more to be added in the near future! ltrestorationguide.com

The home page, displaying a pie chart of how many shorts were restored and some interesting releases on this day

A table of home media releases with links to such for more information

Finding out shorts available in a set, even by status, character, and director!

A calculator to determine how complete is your collection

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 20/08/2025

All of the home media pages, including Warner Archive Collection list, has been completed. Just cleaning up a few home media pages then finding a webhost. Have a sample of the WAC page.

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 01/08/2025

MAJOR PROJECT UPDATE: The calculator for shorts is almost finished and basic functionality has been completed. Here is a video of it in action! Intended to be added in the final release is a progress bar on completion for home media shorts, and more improved CSS.

021

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 23/07/2025

Heavy progress being done to the calculator; here's a sneak peek of the interface, and the Blu-rays you'll want to complete the HD collection.

The calculator with a selection of home media sets adding shorts to the top right side.

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

Also, all home media pages are now complete, at least for their boilerplate templates that includes what shorts they have; the descriptions and images are what's left. A lot of the big VHS/LaserDisc series are already done.

010

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

Progress report after a while. Navigation has got a major overhaul, and more notably I've began work on the calculator to determine how much your library is to completion. The backend is done; I demonstrate it loading and killing the backend server to show an error.

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 20/06/2025

Several days later and all of the DVD releases are finally finished! Onwards to LaserDisc and VHS; it would also be helpful if there are high-quality scans of the latter two formats.

Most underrated gal. Thanks!

Just for fun and also for visualization purposes, I made a tier list on how likely each short would make it on future volumes of Collector's Vault, disc 1 and disc 2 separate. Anything below "last and least" for disc 1 is mostly stuff that is primarily up to WAC's approval. #looneytunes #tierlist

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

Better view; also some new filters for the home media table. DVD releases should be done having their pages and only LaserDisc and VHS are left for the part that takes the longest.

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

It's been a while; here's another progress report. With an automatically generated collector's score, it is now easier to determine which sets are the best to obtain and it even fluctuates as later sets releases. The higher the score, the better.

List of home media releases, sorted by their collector recommendation score. A more descriptive guide will probably be helpful, but it at least shows which ones you should avoid.

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

* In total, only 5 of Bugs' shorts are yet to be restored * I didn't include cameos where Bugs doesn't physically appear nor any of the Snafu shorts. Snafu shorts are still out of scope and I highly doubt WAC/WHV has any interest in officially restoring them

010

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

Notes: * Collector's Vault hasn't been added yet; I'll likely await until review copies comes out before this gets updated to verify the shorts. * All This and Rabbit Stew and Fresh Hare do have known restored prints even though they haven't been released as such on home media

010

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

Here's a list of Bugs Bunny shorts by their restoration status and their home media status as a progress report on my website project involving filters for the shorts list. 108 Bugs Bunny shorts out of 171 has been on Blu-ray as of currently.

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

Home page preview for the website; I definitely need to find a way to fill in the bottom right empty space

Home page of my website, which has pie charts of restoration process and a "on this day" indicator

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

It is also worth noting that Collector's Vault Disc One appears to list "Double or Mutton" as one of the shorts, even though it's already on Collector's Choice Volume 4! Hopefully this is an error; it's probably intended for "A Sheep in the Deep".

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

Wow I'm bad at guessing; comparing my predictions for Looney Tunes Collector's Vault with the actual ones on the right.

031

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

Seems like Double or Mutton is there again as a double dip. Hopefully it's accidental and it doesn't make it to the final release. Otherwise, very good list here.

100

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Next up is just finishing the home media pages altogether

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

These scores are automatically calculated and does change when more volumes get released. Strive for Blu-ray over DVD any day.

010

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Another progress report on the restoration guide website: Recommendation Scores! The scale aims to try to judge how valuable a set is for collectors based on select criteria, such as being upgrade prints and if there's no better version. Now you know to avoid the double dips at all costs.

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

Some predicted choices derives of: * A-Lad-In His Lamp being highly requested since LTCC V2 * An Avery spot gag short being necessity since LTCC V2 * At least five shorts never being on home media * In all honesty how have Rhapsody Rabbit or A Star is Bored never appeared on Blu-ray?

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

Might as well throw it here before it inevitably gets listed next month minimum; here's my predictions for Collector's Vault Volume 1. Mostly a little of everything, with perhaps one of the most overlooked shorts in the newly restored area that hasn't even got a single home media release!

A glimpse of what a home media page would be like for the website. Will be documenting bonus features, commentaries, and the like on top of the restoration status for the Looney Tunes shorts.

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 28/03/2025

Even post-Golden Age shorts are documented in a similar manner.

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 28/03/2025

Color! For the navigation bar based on release season (and reissue if it was) and for the table for easier recognition. (honestly I may regret the reissue color part of the navigation banner though)

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 28/03/2025

Another progress report for my website; get some information on the shorts themselves while finding out where they are released (if they were).

Trick or Tweet, which is not on home media!

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 24/03/2025

More progress on the shorts table on my upcoming website; here's all of the 1950s Looney Tunes shorts without a restored Blu-ray/DVD release. Let's convince WB to get them all out!

A Fox in a Fix and Easy Peckin's hardcore fan here

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

Still working on the website; now have every title card organized like this. If I do finish my website, I'll make them more readily available. 1045 title cards!

010

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

For reference, out of 1002 shorts, only 312 are made easily available on Blu-ray (31.14% of the shorts). With the Vault Collection coming up soon, this could be bumped to 362, but we're still quite the long way there.

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

I've been working on a Looney Tunes restoration guide website, based on my earlier attempt with the Excel spreadsheet. Yes, now with sortable and filters! It's a work-in-progress but it's going a bit smoothly. I hope once it comes out it will help collectors, now that Max pulled the shorts.

I don't think many people is going to care, but I do play Pocket Camp. Here's my card if you're somehow willing to want to add it. (BTW I like nearly all squirrels) #AnimalCrossing #ACPC #PocketCamp

A glitch in Donkey Kong Country 3 can make the game believe that it is illegal. Throwing a keg at a Knocka enemy in a specific spot will execute random code, which may trigger the game's copy protection and make it display an anti-piracy warning.

After some delays it's finally here. Here's to hopefully another 100 restored cartoons!

010

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 17/11/2024

There's been more reports for new classic cartoon releases to come out soon; I'll be keeping up to date for various cartoon series Blu-ray releases (including a rumored Tom and Jerry CinemaScope collection). Stay (looney) tuned! By the way, I'm also on the Blu-ray forums.

000

BF10 @bf10.bsky.social · 17/11/2024

When Collector's Choice Volume 4 comes out on November 26th, we'll have 311 shorts available in HD on official home media, and 622 shorts in total including DVD media. So, we're approximately 62% done with releasing shorts to home media for the series.
