I don't know if this is an issue that Bluesky has resolved, but when Gaiman's abuse came to light a lot of people simply went and blocked his account but unless you unfollow an account first *then* block it they still show on your follow list. Worth bearing in mind with the likes of Dan Boultwood.

Disney does very good evil. Yes there's the big obvious (and great) villains like Ursula and Maleficent but then you also have the almost mundane, low key and almost more evil characters like Lady Tremaine and Mother Gothel who are real world evil abusers in cartoon fairy tale fantasies

Macklemore already has the Mandate of Heaven, but this comment left under the "Thrift Shop" video last week is still nice to see. His decency isn't a recent development.

The goodwill gave us all $100 vouchers and Mac like we called him was freaking hilarious! But he was a nice dude and he footed the bill for our lunches. On the last day of filming, he gave us all fur coats and took us to Taneda restaurant. Booked it all out and had a bang of a party!! I have called out unacceptable behaviour around consent and boundaries and have made the effort to tell both my boys if they've said anything that's even vaguely not OK. It's really not that hard to do. It is possible there are times it's not safe for you to do so, but that's rarely the case.

Having a CD player again means getting to play this brilliantly bonkers compilation the husband got in Australia many years ago. Prime disco, disco remix of the Wonder Woman theme, 90s Euro-pop, a remix of the Charlie's Angels theme tune with the French intro. It's all brilliant (except Boy George)

At school when we had cawl for dinner (the Welsh version of hotpot/stew that almost everyone has - meat and root vegetables in a broth or sauce, although cawl is closer to soup than stew) it was always served with wholemeal rolls and butter so I can't have stew without bread rolls and butter.

Asp is still defying captire to be taken to the vet to be checked (the little bugger is *fast*) but he's pretty much the (mostly) outside cat now, except when he comes in to try and get extra dinner. He's not up to being stroked yet, but he's getting there.

I would love for Burnham, or any Labour politician, to explain why banning alcohol from football stands is "discriminatory" but effectively banning trans people from gender affirming care ot a right to a public life is perfectly fine and not discrimination at all.
