Yes, you can. Here's an example of a block notification I got from Listification. I can still click the 3-dot menu and get the option to block in return.

Not an optical illusion, this can is actually cup-shaped, wider at the top than the bottom. I have never seen this kind of packaging before and am wondering what the rationale is. Easier to fill? Easier to unpack & shelve?

Small potatoes in the scheme of things, but overgrown shrubberies & weeds that block sidewalks are as bad as anything else that blocks sidewalks. This is an urban sidewalk on an urban street.
Tall weeds up against a wooden fence and between the sidewalk and the street block a sidewalk.

As someone who detests the phrase "green space," I decided to figure out when it entered the popular lexicon, which is just after 1960. When the damage to American downtowns was starting to be visible and everyone thought that nature band-aids were the answer.
Google Ngram charting the incidence of "green space" in its corpus of digitized books. There is almost no use until after 1960, when there is a steep increase, a drop around 1984, another increase around 2000, followed by an other drop.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you do not have to carry your helmet around when you dismount. The vent holes in most helmets are large enough for standard U-locks & folding locks.

So much this:
Drivers: Haven't you noticed we're all dangerous maniacs speeding around and using our phones?

Cyclists: So should we do something about this, like putting in protected bike lanes and doing traffic calming?

Drivers: No, you should get off the road and let us speed in peace. Stop being so entitled!

E.R. Thomas, a Buffalo automaker, writes that horses & cars are the only transportation individuals have, in a city that in 1906 had a mature streetcar system and robust bicycle culture. Predicts that people will be unable to take long walks. Excerpt from Machinery, Dec. 1906, p.207.
If it is a fact that for two thousand years the horse was practically the only method by which individuals were trans- ported with scarcely, if any, improvement, since the days of the Roman chariot, the automobile, being the only successor, must be the only method until some better way is devised. This, at the present time, is not even dreamed of or predicted. and hence, I believe that for a thousand years, the automobile, especially when changed, perfected and improved to suit the growing needs, will be practically the only method by which Individuals are transported beyond a walking radius. and the demand will increase and increase until the man afoot, beyond a short walking radius, will be a rarity. In fact, it may not be an idle dream to predict that within a century the practice of walking long distances will be discontinued and people will be unable to take long walks, but will use roller skates, bicycles, motor bicycles and automobiles.
E. R. THOMAS, Buffalo, N. Y.

My sit bones hurt after 5 miles on the bike and padded shorts did not help. A wide, cushioned seat made all the difference. If you have girl butt, replace your anorexic saddle.
A lot of cyclists need padded shorts not because they’re doing distance or racing, but because they think the left saddle looks cool and the right saddle looks dorky. Left saddle is narrow, right saddle is wide.

My city painted some green bike boxes for left-turning north & south-bound cyclists. I think they positioned them wrong. From what I read, they're supposed to be where I drew red boxes. Instead, if I want to turn left, I have to go to the far corner in front of cross traffic. What do we think?
Aerial view of an intersection with crosswalks. Green left-turn bike boxes are painted in front of cross traffic instead right in the lane the cyclist needs to turn from. Red boxes denote what I thought was the correct placement.

"On the contrary" is an idiomatic phrase used to strongly disagree with a previous statement or implication by asserting that the exact opposite is true. It serves as a direct rebuttal, functioning similarly to saying, "actually, the opposite is true".

Cities did not wait until every household had 1 car per adult before ripping out streetcars and leveling neighborhoods for highways.
I would much prefer a world where cars are not a necessity as well, but this is not my experience with anti-car posters

This will become obvious if you ever mention that we'll need certain infrastructure before [insert reform here]

I wish designers of shoulder bags with adjustable straps figured out how to prevent strap bunch-up.
Rectangular plastic loop connecting strap to body of bag is failing at keeping the straps flat. Instead they are bunching up at the corners of the plastic.
