The government should have a competing company in every "essential" market. Food, housing, clothing, water, energy, telecoms, transportation. 100%. Obama will almost guaranteed not be the candidate on the ballot in 2028, but I would feel very good about him attempting a run now for all of these reasons. And, much like Trump will, he can channel all of his months of campaigning and support into the actual candidate.

What a perfect analogy. Because I think it's incredibly reasonable to blame the people pushing on the door; they are primarily at fault. But there should be a lot of scrutiny on why the door was so cracked for some issues. Or why people opened their closed doors after seeing the commotion

Biden was going to be a 0 term president in 2019, and was asked to run. He should have stayed the 1 term president he promised to be, and his attempt to rerun hurt Kamala BAD. But I still think if you voted against Kamala in 24, you didn't vote for Hillary in 16 or Biden in 20. I cannot believe it
