Last year in Mogok, military airstrikes killed three children and injured four others when bombs struck a futsal field. Children at play became victims of a calculated attack. This was not an accident, but part of a broader pattern of violence against civilians in Myanmar.

A year has passed, but the impact of the earthquake in Myanmar remains. Homes collapsed, families were torn apart, and communities were left to rebuild through grief. Today, we remember those lost and stand with all those continuing the long road to recovery.

Today we mark 5 years since the military coup in Myanmar. We pause for those killed, jailed, and displaced. We stand with every community still living through violence and instability. And we commit to action—because solidarity must be more than words. Myanmar is not forgotten.
