Saw RHINOCEROS by Eugene Ionesco at the A.R.T. and it was really good! Intense, weird, and also somehow timely! John Turturro was incredible -- the whole cast was amazing! Definitely worth seeing, and I'm going to be thinking about it for a while. AI could *never*

Yesterday we went to the storage unit, and I brought home my velvet pumpkins. Some are for at work, some are for at home, and honestly these have brought me so much joy through the years!

Name a historical figure you'd eat lunch with. Sarah Bernhardt. She would be so interesting! (Alphonse Mucha poster of The Divine Sarah in Gismonda) You know what, thrown Mucha in there as well! (picture from The Mucha Foundation)

Three good things from today: 1. FRIDAY! 2. The sky was really beautiful this morning, with clouds tipped with gold from the sun. 3. Bought myself flowers!

A mix of purple and maroon flowers, including lilies, roses, and others that I don't know the name of, in a dark purple vase on a black bookcase. It is blocking a light switch and there is a wall candleholder made of wood to the left.

And as we wind on down the road Our shadows taller than our soul There walks a lady we all know Who shines white light and wants to show How everything still turns to gold And if you listen very hard The tune will come to you at last When all are one, and one is all To be a rock and not to roll
