@neorsd.org I would like to share the pics I took of Bessie the Trash Dragon. I want to go kayaking for Trash Fish.

Pic is of a colorful “dragon” sculpture about the size of a full size van, composed of a bunch of plastic discarded trash. There are detergent bottles in there, Crocs shoes, flip flops; I can’t even tell what else is in here from this pic.

Pic is of a colorful “dragon” sculpture about the size of a full-size van, composed of a bunch of plastic discarded trash. This shot shows its head and face a lot more close up. There are plastic cups for its eyes, with black plastic hoses for angry eyebrows, and more Crocs shoes and flip flops. I think it has the spout of a motor oil bottle for its nose. Its face looks pretty ferocious and po’d about people littering.

I took a cool pic of one of the Archimedes screws. #cleanwaterfest

I loved this event. Thank you all so much for what you do.

I missed this! Gotta make sure I see this next year! 3rd Saturday in September!

I had so much fun. Thanks so much you guys. You may share this photo anywhere you want.

Yeah, thanks. Sorry, I reread your posts and saw that it was rain or shine. My bad.

@neorsd.org Is Clean Water Fest going on rain or shine? Looks like it’s going to rain off & on all day. 😕

Gonna vote early with my 20 yo offspring on October 6. They’ll be home for fall break.

Love this. Where did you buy the frame? I have a bunch of small pieces that I’m going to need to frame.

This actually gives me so much hope, Rachel. This gives me more hope than anything I’ve read on social media in a long time. Thanks so much.

These are really cute. Especially if you made these in holiday colors, I’d buy these in a heartbeat, especially in the star shape, maybe red/pink/white in a candy cane shape.

I was only in San Juan, Puerto Rico for three days several years ago, but what I did see, I loved. I would go again.

Not sure you can get more Marie Antoinette than taking away food stamps right before Thanksgiving while you build a gold and marble dance hall so the other crooks can bring you bribes over a badly cooked (Argentinian) steak.

#WIP Wednesday. Pattern is called Veggies Kawaii Cross Stitch. This is gonna be a fun one. Pattern by Coven Stitchery. #crossstitch #crossstitching #countedcrossstitch #crafts #needlework

Pic is a cross stitch project on white cloth. All that’s on the cloth at this point is words that read “let’s get take out” in a dark bluish color. Just to the right and down from that is a smiling little greyish mushroom with pink little cheeks. There is some green object stitched next to it that sort of looks like a vertical oval.

Yay!! I can’t wait. Can you dm me when it’s done, if I don’t see your post?

Beth McClellan @bethiemac.bsky.social · 02/10/2025

I would stitch it, I just need a pattern.

That’s cool. Hey, I saw your little bio line…I am actually looking for someone to design me a sorta pride-themed x-stick to hang in the youth group room at my UU church. Something trying to convey that this is a safe space, be yourself, that sort of thing. Would you be willing/able to do that?
