As a Belgian, I am not opposed to the British rejoining the EU. BREXIT was bad for everyone. But it does depend on the conditions, however. In other words, what do the British want? When they were in the EU, they wanted one foot out, and when they were outside the EU, they wanted one foot in.

What bothers me most about all the lies these pundits spout is their constant assertion that the economy is so much better than it was under Biden. This is very rarely refuted, even though the opposite is true. But if it is repeated often enough, it becomes the truth.

If Fetterman switches to the Republicans, he will be welcomed with open arms. Then he will be squeezed dry like a lemon until he has outlived his usefulness, and finally tossed out like a bag of trash.

Sure, inflation will likely fall once the war is over. But more importantly, he is effectively admitting that by starting the war, he is the cause of the rise in inflation—so it wasn't Biden after all. And secondly, it shows that the war isn't actually over yet, contrary to his earlier statements.

Biden simply should have done what he said he would do in 2019: serve as a transitional figure. Had he reaffirmed this after the midterms, there would have been plenty of time for normal primaries. Who knows who might have emerged from that process.
