advice to young writers: - begin the first sentence of every paragraph with, "So basically the whole deal is, is that [...]" - begin subsequent sentences with, "And plus, [...]" - end every paragraph with, "So that basically wraps it up as far as all that goes." - 4 blank lines between paragraphs

Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes. You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment. My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc. www.reddit.com/r/Passports/...

Bad timeline where Cheng Xiaoshi knows English #linkclick #时光代理人

Sketchy comic strip of Link Click.
Vein says "you look tasty" to Cheng Xiaoshi.
Cheng Xiaoshi is joyfully flattered. He says "ohoho, you think so?" Lu Guang is behind him baffled and disturbed. Vein offers Cheng Xiaoshi to join his modelling agency.
Cheng Xiaoshi walks away from Lu Guang, waving goodbye as he says "bye Lu Guang! I've found a man who appreciates my handsomeness." Lu Guang desperately reaches out to him yelling "NO! WAIT!!!"

Cheng Xiaoshi is then featured on a hot summer fashion poster alongside Xia Fei. Lu Guang yells out in despair.
Lu Guang determinedly claps his hands to go back in time.
In the next timeline, Cheng Xiaoshi asks "should I study English?" Lu Guang slams his fists down as he shouts "NO!!!"
He intensely grips a stunned Cheng Xiaoshi's face as he orders "NEVER! LEARN! ENGLISH!"
Cheng Xiaoshi lets out a small ok.

TLDR: There is nothing enforceable for the immediate future. It will take months or years to implement this via rulemaking or bureaucratic changes which are then subject to legal challenge. While it's worrying, there's no immediate change yet for most trans people. Do not comply in advance.

I had the pleasure of illustrating the concept art for @toastofeden.bsky.social 's shiguang mafia AU fic! Thank you for trusting me with designing the book cover 🫶

Book cover spread for Eden's Shigiang mafia AU fic "You really keep it on the straight and narrow". The front cover is of Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi engaged in a sort of waltz in the warmth of Lu Guang's apartment. Lu Guang is holding a gun behind Cheng Xiashi's back while Cheng Xiaoshi is holding a knife behind Lu Guang's neck, it's important to note both their weapons are turned away and that they're (seductively) smiling at one another. Behind them is a window slightly ajar, blowing the curtain open. The view reveals the dark cityline. Below the window is a radiator. The entire vibe is giving noir romance.
The back cover is of the exterior windows of Grand Central Terminal, police lights illuminating the building. Large shadows of LG and CXS on the run are cast on the bright windows.
