now the beautiful Alterlaa development, a huge 70s/80s social housing complex with a range of amenities for residents. About 9,000 people live here, and tenant satisfaction is among the highest in the city

one of the Alterlaa towers, which curves gracefully upwards then straight up from about halfway. The bottom half is made up of terraced balconies covered in plants and foliage.
